This piece was super helpful in progressing some key aspects of my craft.

Huge steps into procedural modelling, following a guide and making my changes along the way was extremely helpful and the end result is super quick and art directable, and on top of that, all the simulations are linked as well, so if anything changed on the model, the simulation would be adjusted.

After that it was a good amount of work to make the water, it was split into 3 parts for both speed and art directability, thanks to sidefx SOP flip tools, you can just feed the flow of one sim into another and it is seamless. Beyond that was figuring out a way to give uvs to the liquid so I could use foam textures or textures for the top of the water like lily pads effectively, this current iteration works super well for foam but it is still a bit "poppy" but with time this could be smoothed down.

I love myself some look dev so rendering was done with octane render, I tried the new karma but the speed is still not there and I don't have a 4000 series card to try out the new improvements so I'm sticking with the amazing and reliable octane for a bit longer.

Have a nice day and stay creative.
